Happy Wednesday, Grayslake! If you are looking for the best Craft Beer Grayslake has to offer to get you through the middle of the week, Beer Bazaar is your destination. We’ve got a massive variety hitting the shelves today, ranging from nostalgic seltzer flavors and charitable IPAs to decadent barrel-aged stouts and small-batch meads.
Sean is behind the bar today and ready to help you navigate these fresh arrivals. Whether you’re here to support local dog rescues with your pour or you’re looking for a New Zealand-hopped pale ale, we are proud to be your local “third space” in the Village of Grayslake.
Boulevard Brewing Company
- Quirk Chill Mix Pack (4%): This variety pack is pure nostalgia in a can. It features hard seltzer renditions of classic treats like Frozen Berry Bar, Tiger’s Blood (strawberry, coconut, and watermelon), Lemon Italian Ice, and Rainbow Sherbet. Made with real fruit juice and clocking in at just 90 calories, it’s the ultimate “chill” option for the warmer days ahead.
Pipeworks Brewing Company
- Turtles in Stereo (6.2%): A New Zealand-style Pale Ale that is a masterclass in Southern Hemisphere hops. It features a heavy-hitting blend of Motueka, Rakau, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron. Expect an explosion of passionfruit, peach, and “diesel” notes typical of high-end NZ hops.
- Unicorn vs. The Haze (8%): A massive Hazy DIPA that pits Pipeworks’ legendary Unicorn against a wall of tropical juice. It’s pillowy, soft, and dangerously drinkable.
- Blood of the Unicorn (6.5%): The classic. This Hoppy Red Ale strikes the perfect balance between bready, toasted malts and aggressive piney/citrusy hops.
- Barrel Aged S’more Money S’more Problems (13.7%): This is a heavy hitter. An Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned with cocoa nibs, vanilla, and graham crackers. It’s a liquid campfire treat with a high-gravity backbone.
9th Hour Brewing Co.
- Hopped to Adopt (6.5%): A special Grapefruit Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with The Parched Pug. This beer features a bright, citrusy hop bill of Azacca, Galaxy, Riwaka, and Cascade. Best of all? A portion of the proceeds from this beer goes directly to local dog rescues. Drink great beer and help pups find forever homes!
- That Veronica Vaughn (4.9%): A smooth, easy-going Vanilla Blonde Ale. It’s light-bodied with just enough Madagascar vanilla bean character to make it feel like a treat without being overly sweet.
Unpossible Mead
- The Fuzz & The Flower (6.3%): A fan-favorite restock! This session-style mead combines juicy peaches with the delicate, floral notes of elderflower.
- Beary Cherry Cheesecake (10%): This decadent mead is officially back. Brewed with cherries and cheesecake flavors, it offers a rich, creamy mouthfeel and a tart fruit finish that tastes exactly like the dessert.
