Grayslake, IL – Get ready for the most anticipated barrel-aged beer event of the year! Join us for the 2025 Goose Island Bourbon County Release Party on Black Friday, November 29th, starting at 4 PM, right here in the Grayslake Village Center!
This event coincides with the Grayslake Festival of Lights & Holiday Market, making it the perfect start to your holiday season.
The 2025 Bourbon County Tapping Lineup
We will have special tappings of four of the highly sought-after 2025 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout variants, allowing you to sample the diverse lineup:
- 2025 Original Stout: The classic Imperial Stout, aged for an average of 12 months in a blend of freshly emptied bourbon barrels. It delivers deeply developed flavors of fudge, vanilla, and caramelized sugar.
- 2025 Cherries Jubilee Stout: Inspired by the iconic flambéed dessert, this stout is aged in bourbon barrels and finished in cognac casks with Montmorency cherries, citrus, and panela. Tasting notes include burnished cocoa and vibrant dark stone fruits.
- 2025 Chocolate Praline Stout: This full-bodied stout is layered with a blend of cocoa nibs, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, and dates. It showcases the classic flavors of a chocolate praline, with notes of rich fudge and toasted marzipan.
- 2025 Proprietor’s Stout: This Chicago-market exclusive is inspired by Baklava. It features walnuts, pistachios, cassia bark, and honey to highlight the nuttiness and warm baking spice that barrel aging brings forward.
All five 2025 bottles (Original Stout in the new 10oz format, Cherries Jubilee, Chocolate Praline, Proprietor’s, and Double Barrel) will be available to purchase in-store & online. (Details subject to change).
